William Lindsay White Civic Auditorium
William Lindsay White Civic Auditorium in Emporia has a rich sports history. With seating for 5,000 people, it is home to the Emporia State University men’s and women’s basketball teams, as well as the volleyball team. This climate-controlled auditorium is ideal for large events. The open court is perfect for spacious vender set-up and easy flow of foot traffic. The stage provides an intimate and unique platform for a great show! Events such as the EVCO Food Show, Spring Expo, Taste of Emporia food and beverage expo, as well as circuses, commencement ceremonies, and concerts are just a few of the events boasted by this venue.
High school teams travel from across Kansas to compete here in tournaments of every size. Gymnastics, wrestling, and club sports are among others to compete here as well. As a spectator, multiple concessions stations and plenty of restrooms mean you’ll be back in your seat before you miss the action! Know that you can count on knowledgeable volunteers at every game to ensure you don’t get lost on your way back to your seat either!
