Seed Swap at PAROC

February 4 @ 5:00 pm 8:00 pm

Join us for a Good Way Sunday seed swap event hosted by ESU’s PAROC! We’ll be sharing resources, education, and activities with our seed-loving community. With special guests, Courtney Masterson from the Native Lands Restoration Collaborative, and Nancy Kost from The Buffalo Seed Company! Nancy will cover how to grow and save seeds from different types of crops, such as tomatoes, peppers, maize, beans, basil, and cilantro. She will show techniques of wet and dry processing, as well as how to store and label the seeds. We’ll also talk about how local seed systems can enhance the resilience and diversity of our food system in the face of environmental and market challenges.

The Buffalo Seed Company will bring some of their varieties for sale, and also be delivering pre-orders of their seeds at the event.
