Secret Kansas presentation and book signing

Best selling author Roxie Yonkey will discuss her new book Secret Kansas: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure. The presentation begins at 1:15 p.m. Emporia-area stories include Home of Veterans Day, William Allen White drives away the Ku Klux Klan, the National Teachers Hall of Fame, and the Grand Central Hotel in Cottonwood Falls; the Allegawaho Heritage Memorial Park, Council Grove; and Teter Rock in Greenwood County.
