Nick Geankoplis Artist Reception

Please join us for an Artist Reception for Nick Geankoplis, Friday, May 3rd., from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Emporia Arts Center. The gallery show runs through May 25th.
Nick is a practicing artist, professor, and maker living in Manhattan, KS where he currently leads the ceramics program at KSU. While he is known for his installation ceramic art he also makes utilitarian ceramics as well. In both expressions he uses the ideas of society, legacy, and deconstruction to have the viewer question what we leave behind us and what we as people value.
