Annual Veterans Exhibit Artists’ Opening Reception

The Emporia Arts Center will host an Artist’s Opening Reception for The Annual Veteran’s Exhibit in the Trusler Gallery, 815 Commercial St., from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3rd, 2023. The show will be up for viewing November 1st – November 11th.

This is an annual exhibition showing the artistic work of all veterans and those currently serving in all branches. It is a juried show with placement for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Honorable Mention, as well as People’s Choice. The voting for People’s Choice will begin on November 1st and go up until 4:45pm on the 3rd. Winners will be announced by ESB Financial during the reception at 5:15pm. The Refreshments and Announcements will be provided by Emporia Chamber of Commerce.

Emporia Arts Council is honored to share the artistic talents of all those that chose to serve our country. Each year the Emporia Arts Council showcases our local veterans who are also artists in the first half of the month of November as part of Emporia’s Veteran’s Day celebration. We invite the community to come out to this fantastic show and to show support to our veterans.
All exhibitions in the Trusler Gallery at Emporia Arts Center are free to the public.
