It’s finally starting to feel like fall outside and we’re ready for Halloween! There’s lots to do in Emporia this Friday and Saturday, as well as Halloween night, so come out and enjoy this time of year in our beautiful city.

Haunted Trail at Camp Alexander
Friday & Saturday night, October 27-28 from 7:30pm to 10:30pm
1783 Rd P5, Emporia
Take a spine-tingling walk through the woods at Camp Alexander. Tickets are $8 per person and benefit Camp Alexander and ESU Track & Field.

Corey Feldman & The Angels + The Lost Boys Halloween Party

If you love the 80’s, this party is for you! Corey Feldman & The Angels will be headlining the Granada Theatre’s biggest Halloween Party yet! Corey & The Angels will not only be playing their own high energy originals, but also hit songs from all of Corey’s movies, followed by a late-night screening of Corey’s 1987 horror comedy film, The Lost Boys. Be sure to come in costume for the costume competition, prizes, fun, and dancing! Tickets are available at

Get your costumes on and bring the kids downtown for free trick-or-treating at Emporia’s local businesses! Visit for a map of participating businesses.

Champions of Magic Show
Saturday, October 28 at 2:30 pm and 7:00pm

Watch world-class illusionists all the way from the West End of London create a spectacular night of mystery! The cast includes international award winners presenting incredible mind reading, stunning close-up magic and daring large-scale illusions. Costumes are welcome! Tickets are available at

Downtown Historic Haunted Tours
Friday & Saturday night, October 27-28 from 9:00pm to 11:30pm (last tour at 11:00pm)
Check-in at White Memorial Park, 101 W 6th Ave, Emporia
These historic walking tours offer an up close and personal look at some of Emporia’s oldest buildings and hidden-away places. The tours include 5 spooky downtown locations with a guide at each. Once you have checked-in at White Memorial park, you may visit the different tour locations in any order at any time between 9-11pm on Friday or Saturday night. A map to each location is provided on the back of your ticket. Make sure to BRING A FLASHLIGHT! Tickets are $5 per person, and can be purchased in advance at, or either night of the event at White Memorial Park, 101 W 6th Ave, Emporia.

Boo in the Zoo
Tuesday, October 31 from 4pm to 5:30pm
75 Sodens Rd, Emporia
Children in costume are invited to “Trick or Treat” at the Zoo! This event is free to the public.
