Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

Kansas Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics benefiting Special Olympics Kansas will leave from Emporia State University on Thursday, June 1st heading south. We invite you to come downtown and cheer on the athletes walking the torch down Commercial Street. The journey will begin shortly after 9:00 a.m.

If you would like to donate to the cause, local radio celebrity, Ron Thomas of KVOE 1400 AM, Country 101.7 FM, Mix 104.9 FM and KVOE.com is raising money through Ron’s Ride and will be riding a bicycle along with the torch and athletes from ESU to Olpe.
