Ring of Fire event at the downtown Block Party hosted by Emporia Main Street
Event Info
The Glass Blown Open is an experience unlike any other. More than just a tournament, the entire community of Emporia celebrates and welcomes disc golfers with a full weekend of activities.
As a professional-amateur A-Tier tournament, players compete for trophies and can also earn bonus payouts or other prizes for top placements. The event gets its name from the hand-blown glass trophies presented to winners. The glass trophies were originally designed by Emporian Hal Berger, a renowned glass artist.
Beyond the tournament itself, a variety of activities keep the excitement going off the course. Players and visitors can stamp a disc at Dynamic Discs headquarters, enjoy live music, and much more. The event kicks off with Emporia Main Street's Block Party and Food Truck Festival. At the block party, players, visitors, and the community come together in downtown Emporia to browse disc golf vendors, grab a bite from a food truck, or hang out in the beer garden.
