Emporia CVB Offers 2nd Round of Tourism Grants

EMPORIA, Kansas, July, 5, 2017 – – The deadline for the second round of tourism grant applications is Tuesday, August 1. The Emporia Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) Tourism Grant Program was established to enhance and strengthen the positive economic impact of the tourism industry on our community.  Limited funds are available and will be used for attraction development or for developing a project/event to increase visitor traffic to Emporia. Preference will be given to marketing that is geared towards overnight room stays and projects impacting Spring, Fall, and Winter occupancy rates.

CVB Tourism Grants are reimbursement grants and are not designed to cover the entire cost of a project. A mandatory completion report is required and due within 30 days of completion of awarded project.  To apply, please see the following:
